This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to make substantial progress on a piece of writing. Fiction and nonfiction writers of all levels are welcome.
Over the course of 3 weeks, make measurable progress on your writing project and build community with other writers. Workshops will feature small critique groups, larger group feedback sessions, tailored writing exercises, and one-on-one meetings with the instructor. Classes will meet for 90 minutes (7-8:30pm on Mondays) and writers will be asked to spend time outside of the class each week editing their writing, reading their peers' writing, and giving each other feedback. There will also be optional assignments and simple tips to help you maintain a consistent writing practice outside of the workshop.
This workshop will meet in person in Portland, Maine at Novel (643 Congress St.) on the following Mondays from 7-8:30pm: October 27th, November 3rd, & November 10th.

Whether you’re finishing a project or starting your next creative endeavor, this group is for you! Over the course of 3 weeks (Sundays, October 12, 19, & 26), you’ll break through limiting beliefs, create habits that last, and cultivate community.
Mixing the science of habits with the psychology of art, each weekly session will tackle a different facet of the creative life. Practicing small creative steps every week, you will build a creative routine that works for you, your life, and your art.
